Ttabamiruka '08 Organizing Committee together with the Chairman of Ggwangamujje NY/NJ, Inc. and Ssabasajja Kabaka's representative in New York and New Jersey had a successful road show in Boston, MA on July 6, 2008. The Committee members visited numerous places of worship and updated the congregations about Ttabamiruka '08 preparations. They distributed various conference materials including registration forms and conference brochures.
The Committee ended the road show at the popular Karibu Restaurant where they met Baganda Boston elders, Chairman of Ggwangamujje Massachusetts and Ssabasajja Kabaka's deputy representative in the area. The elders assured the Committee that the escalating challenges in Buganda have created a ground swell of interest in this year's conference, which augurs well for a record attendance. Other topics discussed included the continuity of Ttabamiruka in the future.
