Entertainment at Ttabamiruka '10 will be provided by the following:
Touch & Soul Band
Touch & Soul started early in 2010, after a few years of unofficial collaboration between three former members Afrigo Band, son of Buganda’s music legend Elly Wamala, and other professional musician. In April 2010, after a few years of working together, they instantly became the top Baganda band in America.
The highly talented and versatile Touch & Soul can play world-class Ssemadongo, Reggae, R&B, Soul, Sokous, and other styles. However, when it comes to Ssemadongo, you will swear that Afrigo itself is in the building. That is why they attracted the attention of the Governor of Massachusetts, who has hired them to play at a major fundraiser on August 28, 2010.
The all-youthful members of the Boston based Touch & Soul have a combined professional performance experience of nearly 50 years – evidence that they all got into music very young. Individually, Touch & Soul members have worked as curtain raisers or back-up artists at concerts by international performers including Lucky Dube, Shaggy, Third World, Yondo Sister, just to mention but a few. They have also provided band music for top Baganda artists such as Chameleon, Bebe Cool, Irene Namubiru, Ragga Dee and many others.
The members of the amazing new and hot Touch & Soul include:
- Julius Juuko - Omwana wa Afrigo
- Robert Ssimbwa
- Spurgeon Wamala - Mutabani wa Elly
- Duch Ziwa - Omugoma
- Jackie T
- Robert Hoar - Kasirivu Omuzungu
Touch & Soul will rock you with Afrigo classics like Ssemadongo, Omutanda Gyaali and Bwosika Ekitajja, not to mention Ssemakula's Njagala Nyimbire Omutanda. If you love Afrigo, you will certainly fall in love with Touch & Soul.

About Music: Ricknelly says, “For me, it started as a hobby, but got personal, where I use it as a vent to verbalize feelings. I use it as a way to create awareness and put light to issues that almost no one else can risk their life discussing, because of fear of how those in power may react. I did and will stand by what I believe in. When liberty is at jeopardy, I will always do what is right. I will put my life on the line just to see the corrupt and dictators brought to justice. Awangaale Ayi Ssabasajja!.
