Buganda Conference
11/12/09 - 2nd Annual Buganda Conference Kampala
The Kabaka's government will hold the second annual Buganda Conference on December 17, 2009. The theme, as announced by the Attorney General, is "Federalism, the best governance for Uganda". If you plan be in Kampala at the time, we encourage you to attend this important conference.
Ttabamiruka '10, will build on the outcomes of the Buganda conference. It will be held in the New York area, on September 3-6, 2010.
Registration and other information for Ttabamiruka '10 will be announced by January 2010.
Ekisaakaate 2010
12/03/09 - Announcing Ekisaakaate 2010
HRH, Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda started EKISAAKAATE (Children's Holiday Camp) in 2007.
Ekisaakaate 2010, which will take place from 3 to 17 January 2010 at Katikamu SDA S S S, Wobulenzi
A low fee of Shs.160,000= per participant is charged.
The program Ekisaakaate aims at nurturing young girls and boys (aged 6 to 18) into holistic and versatile individuals who can appreciate both cultural and modern values are beneficial to them. The program adopts culture as a positive and important foundation for self development, and the girls and boys are taught and encouraged to understand and appreciate, rather than shun, their cultural identity and tradition; as well as to respect other people's cultures.
