| Enkiiko z'Ebika (Clan Meetings) |
In Buganda culture, members of the same clan are siblings (brothers and sisters to each other) with a single common ancestor. They cannot marry each other and are expected to assist and be loyal to one another as members of one family. The objective of Enkiiko z'Ebika is to enable Ttabamiruka '07 attendees of the same clan to meet and network and discuss issues of common interest. Parents will introduce their children and discuss ideas on how to strengthen the clan and Buganda.
Visit the Clan Meetings page for more details. |
| Ekisaakaate (Youth Program) |
 |
Modeled after Nnabagereka Nagginda's Ekisaakaate program, these workshops will expose Baganda and Bajjwa (children of Baganda mothers) to key areas of Baganda culture. They will also prepare them for a special Adulthood Initiation ceremony for youth aged 15-30, to be held during Ttabamiruka '07. |
