Nkoba za Mbogo - Uganda
Prince James Wasajja
Prince James Wasajja:
National Chairman – Nkoba za Mbogo Uganda
Buganda’s continuity and sustenance greatly lies in the present new breed of vigilant and aggressive youth. In this changing world, our culture will have been at stake but for the Buganda educated youth who have come out strongly to uphold it.

The Baganda Nkoba za Mbogo Students’ Association is an association that initiates the Buganda educated youth to revere and uphold both the Kingdom’s cultural and social disposition. The association trains its members the ethics of good leadership, builds confidence in them hence preparing them to take leadership of our kingdom.
The members are extensively exposed to the cultures and norms of our kingdom through cultural seminars and workshops where they interact with clan heads and other older resource persons, with much history on the past affairs our kingdom. Books written on our kingdom are also reviewed to seek guidance into the future while relating to the past.

Nkoba za Mbogo has grown extensively since most of the universities, high institutions of learning, secondary schools, primary schools and even nursery schools have embraced it. The association has crossed the borders of Buganda to include all the institutions of learning in the west, east and northern Uganda.

It was upon this that in 2006, the National Executive Council was created. It comprises of all the chairpersons of the different tributary associations. The National Executive Council sits after two years to elect the National Executive Committee of Nkoba za Mbogo.
